Headed out this morning to get my cast removed. Surgeon gave me a referral for physio to start next week. Hand looks fairly good although the fingers are still quite stiff (no surprise there). (Lots of scaly, flaky skin - perfect for Halloween) Doc told me to be careful since the hand is definitely not completely healed as yet.
Then after lunch I had an appointment with the local volunteer co-ordinating office (for both Hastings and Prince Edward County). I'm going to be working with the Archives and Collections Society

It's database entry using Excel - right up my alley, and only a ten minute walk from the house!Got home and spent a lovely hour planting bulbs -30 mixed daffs, Snowdrops (galanthus), mini-Iris (reticulata) and Winter Aconite. I still have about 10 daffs and a Foxtail (eranthus) to put into the beds at the back of the house, but I need to move some lilies first. So that will be tomorrow's job. The fact that I can type (and stitch) again with both hands is a bonus!MargW
