OT Music S.E.X.

*snip*

I like Alf about as much. But, the songs on Raindancing seem to have hit me at the time when I was living in France, and coming back to DC every so often. A certain timeliness of emotions, etc. "Only You" is a great song, as is "Invisible" . But, then there's "Wishing you were Here" - the all time long-distance romance song.

Geez, now I have to find the boxes and boxes of CDs, before I go nutty on iTunes buying singles, etc. Good choices, Brat!

Ack - nothing by her at the library and the snips on Itunes aren't enough to decide....

This has been a dangerous thread.

Very dangerous. I'll try to burn you some stuff - when I find the right box of CDs - then you can decide what to buy.

I'll be happy to burn you off some of my favorite of his and even Toby Keith's. I'll even send you "Running Block" (the sorta anti-fluffy song) so you can see what I mean. It's not truly hateful, but there's one line in that just makes my teeth grind. The rest of it just makes me chuckle. I also made a trip to Hastings (local book/music/movie store) to check out some of the titles you all were mentioning. Safer for me than heading to Borders or B&N, as it's a smaller book store. And gee...what did I come home with? A Bob Seger CD I didn't know existed and (well, surprise surprise) ANOTHER Toby Keith CD. The deciding factor there was that Toby's was cheaper than the Trace A. cd I had in my hot little hands. Since all the magazines I found were on the rather expensive side (In Britain and Realm) I had to make choices. Toby won by virtue of being a couple of bucks cheaper... LOL

Send me your addy offlist and I'll be happy to burn off some of my favorites and let you see what I mean about Trace's voice. Tegan

Hey, Cheryl, I found another book I think will be a must have. I haven't read it yet, cause I'm caught up in a Highlander trilogy about a gold beastie with an emerald inside, and the trials and tribulations of the Scottish family trying to get it back. Anyway, the book I wanted to tell you about is called "I'm The Vampire, That's Why", by Michell Bardsley. It killed me that I had to leave a Morgan Llywellen book, "The Greener Shore", a sequel to her 1991 book "Druids". But "I'm The Vampire" did follow me home, since it had a blurb on it by Mary Janice Davidson and L.A. Banks. Tegan PS Same offer to you.. if you want some Trace or Toby burned off, I'd be happy to do so, just send me your addy and I'll get 'r' done....(sorry.. couldn't resist...)

*snipped a bunch*

Yup. Now, well - waiting for crazy Japanese flooring guys to come put in "temporary" floor so we can use the dining room for the 20 or so folks coming to dinner on Sat (holiday). What fun - they're late.

And pre-season game 1 is tonight at Verizon Ctr. Even more fun.
