Unexpected treasures

I must know 8-10 Creative Memories consultants, yet I have NEVER been to a CM party or purchased a single CM product. I have tried the CM punches and seen much of the products but never been tempted to buy.

In March, I decided I wanted the Amore 7x7 cover set

and the corresponding paper kit for my anniversary party album. I gave all the details to DH and said "this is what I want for my birthday". DH took a look at the cost and bought me an album from Hobby Lobby instead. Well.... My Girl Scout troop held our bridging ceremony on June 5th and the girls gave me a gift. When it was given to me I thought it was from a single girl, not from the troop, so I waited to open it until I got home. When I opened it, all the girls had signed the card. Inside was the Amore album, the matching page kits (w/ embellishments), pages, page protectors, and what I think is the CM NegCare storage box (in the same color scheme no less!).

You could have knocked me over with a feather I was so shocked! Sneaky little girl friends! Get this...I've scrapped with "Becky" whom I met through my kids. She was a CM consultant at the time. I told DH to call Becky to get my gift so Becky knew what I wanted. The last time we scrapped, Becky invited her friend "Janet" (also a CM consultant). Small world, Janet is the mother of one of my scouts that joined the troop last fall. Janet took it upon herself to get a gift for me from the troop and asked Becky for advice.

Now where ow where did I put that time? I must find time to scrap before I go mad!

That is so sweet. Thanks for sharing your story. I'm sure you will find the time to scrap soon. How is Ronni, by the way. We haven't heard from her in a long time.
