6x6 LOs for Barn

Friends, I need some guidance. The 6x6 LOs we are doing for the Barn are the my first introduction anything other than 12x12 or 8.5x11. I know I need to get an album so I asked my Creative Memories consultant friend I'd like to look at what 6x6 albums she has to offer. She told me they only have a 7x7. Now I'm confused.

So...can I get a 6x6 album from a LSS? Is a 7x7 what I really want? I want something that is expandable. I don't think I've ever seen page protectors for 6x6, but I've never looked either.

Thanks for the help!

I've found one at Michael's and I believe TLC has them too. M-C is that correct?

I got mine (6x6) at Hobby Lobby. They had a great selection. Our micheals only had one to choice from. It was originally 9.99 and I used my 40%. I did buy some more page protectors. It only came with 10.

I didn't find a big selection at the Micheals and Hobby Lobby by me. They do have them, just none I liked. I found a ton on Ebay and ordered Making memories one for $5. Try looking there if you can't find one at the stores. I'm sure a LSS would have some also.

AC Moore has the 6x6 and so do many of the online stores. I prefer the 6x6 over the 7x7 because I can cut a piece of cardstock into 4 useable 6x6 sheets while with the 7x7 I can only get one page and I have to use the rest for scrap or mini-albums.

Good point Scout Lady! That's one thing I do like about 6 x 6, cutting a 12 x 12 into 4 6 x 6 pages. It's still a hard size for me to work with, though. LOL

Michaels, Hobby Lobby, an LSS, all carry 6 x 6 albums. I bought a plain K & Co album from MC and I'm going to embellish the front.
