Vic,

We have had our ups and downs.....but I think I can do this as a small pudding for DH, without the carbs in the crust.

many thanks!

I must confess to reading Jangchub's postings after my daily intake of homebrew; my first thought was "poor little mouse"...

Did I spell it wrong! I've been known to doozey up spelliing.

Gill, I don't hold a grudge so as far as I'm concerned what happened yesterday didn't happen today and I only have one life and it only lasts one day...until the next day. Ultimately, of course. Victoria

Graciously written. Thank you.

My daughter in law is a Buddhist from Japan. I have seen the temples over there, and there is a lot to be said for the mental peace. I intend to learn just a little more about it.

Your spelling was fine, it was my reading that was faulty

Vic, you spelled the dessert/hair pomade correctly...

Bruce was just a trifle awash with his potent home brew.

I'm almost afraid to eat this thing I put the recipe up for. I think it's a chemical frappe! Is that what you meant by "hair pomade?"

Maybe the milk is real LOL. Victoria

No dear - you silly thing - the dessert and hair stuff are merely spelt the same...

Archaic variation on spelled. Like slept, drempt, learnt, etc. I actually prefer the older variations - have an almost poetic sound to them.

Marg also RD&H

I remember when I was reading Anne Rice novels and participating on a newsgroup or maybe it was AOL back in the day...anyway, there would be near murders in that group because Anne used old spelling. It sort of fit her novels because even though they were vampires or witches and they were in the current day, their history stemmed way back hundreds of immortal years. Does anyone read Anne Rice? But Fun, isn't it? I do hope you agree.

Oh hell yeah! I was a bit surprised the store was not more crowded than it was, but that is the advantage of having the luxury of time to go whenever I want. I do find that to be a blessed luxury.

I did when she first started but somehow got left behind. Good author and well researched.
