OT: Ready to Spit Nails

So, I leave tomorrow at 0-dark-30 for Austin, TX where DSis will pick me up at the airport and we will head down to Galveston for a 5 day cruise to Cozumel and some other little town. I asked DH to get me my passport. He has the job of putting the passports away after a trip because I have difficulty getting down to the bottom drawer where they are kept. You guessed it -- NO PASSPORT! Now, I had it in October when we returned from the cruise and I remember asking him where he wanted me to put it so he would remember to put it away safely. We have literally TORN the house apart and can't find that (**(^(&^% thing! ASdd to that the fact that I have never been able to find my diamond earrings and the gold ones I bought in St. Thomas and I am starting to wonder if that stuff somehow got put into a bag and was subsequently thrown away!?!?!?! It never dawned on MOI to ask him for my passport before tonight when I needed to put it in my carry on bag. I mean, I have had loads of time to get a replacement if I had known it was MIA! Because the cruise returns from the same port it left from, all I need is a driver's license and my birth certificate and I can get on and off the ship AND back into the country. It will just likely be a load of *(*(^(&^ dealing with not having a passport blah, blah, blah. I WILL get a replacement one when I return because I MUST have it to go to Ireland & Scotland this summer! Needless to say, I am NOT a happy camper!!! Signing off for a week -- goodbye and CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Maybe your passport is hiding somewhere with my computer glasses which have MIA since January.

Anyway. Enjoy the sun and warmth and all things not winter!
