A note from Cheryl

Cheryl asked me to let everyone know that all is well, but she is without power from the rotten snowstorm and can't use her computer till it's turned back on.

So far she has no idea when it will be fixed, but I sure hope it's soon.

She sent the note using her telephone.

I wondered about her when I read almost half of NH is without power.

My sister has her power back on in NH. But my in-laws across the street from her are still powerless.

My FIL $ wife are OK in Warner..just west of Concord; probably because Pat bought a generator, and had it installed this winter. Like insurance, ...if you don't have it, you will need it. LOL

IIRC last year, Cheryl got hit badly, too.

Many home owners are installing them here too, in fact recently we had a scandal with the revelation of some of our MLAs expenses, generators were one of the popular items.

I feel generator sales reflect our very diminished opinion of how reliable our power is - lost mine on Friday night and there was one occasion when we did not have a blizzard, nor high winds and the power company had the gall to say it was 'salty fog' that did it. I am sure they fired the publicity person who said that, there are more jokes around here about 'salty fog' in connection with the power company - - I should do a rare smiley just thinking about it :)

I think it was far more than that - there are several power companies and taken together it was closer to 75% at the start.

More later

That was probably an early report. Glad you are up and running again.
