OT Sad new for me....and possible GeoBear delay

My only brother died yesterday. He was 55. I will be leaving in the next few days to go to where he lived. Please remember me in your prayers. This may mean that Geobear arrives when I am away, which will mean a delay. I may just send him on directly to the next person, without doing photos, just to keep him moving. If I do that, I will still send some postcards.

I'm so sorry to hear such sad news. May his memory be for a blessing.

Today is 20 years since my DH died when he was 54.

((((((((((Dawne)))))))))) I am so sorry to hear about your brother -- I know how you feel as I lost my brother on Valentine's Day 2003. As for GB, just send him on to Sheena and don't worry about it one bit. Have a safe trip and let us know when you have returned home. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

May me deep sympathies go too both of you. Time passes, memories mellow out, but the pain still remains. My late husband died on March 25th...so I am with you both.

Hugs to you too - hard to lose ones partner.

My brother was killed when I was 15, my parents gone by the time I was

30 and recently, the anniversary of my brothers death as I thought about it, he missed so much life it's painful.

There is never a good time, is there? My brother retired, happily, last summer, and did get to some of the things on his "I always wanted to" list---but there were more. Life is precious.

Hugs to all of you too,

Dawne

No good time, at least while one is still active. Tomorrow a.m. I am attending a full mass funeral for a good friend - if she wasn't a good friend I would not do that ! She went to Calgary to visit her two daughters and a new grandchild, didn't feel well and they found cancer in her brain. She never returned to Halifax and died mercifully and quickly the beginning of the week. She was only 70 a very lively 70, there should have been more for her.

Thankfully I spoke to her before I left for Gatlinburg.

I will picture her tomorrow laughing her head off that she has me sitting there for a full mass -
