OT: Superbowl Commercials

Hi Guys, I didn't watch the game but I *have* been able to view the commercials (best part of the whole thing IMNSHO) on AOL! Needless to say, the Budweiser commercials are great but I really DO like the ones for Diet Pepsi. On AIL, you can vote for your favourite and I am quite partial to the "Streaker" and "Barn" Budweiser commercials. But then I ham drawn to the Jackie Chan Diet Pepsi commercial because D.P. is SOOOOOO much better than Diet Coke -- LOLOL! CiaoMeow >^;;^<

OMG -- that one was great too :-)! The Jackie Chan Diet Pepsi one

**really** made me laugh because of the "stand in" used. You gotta remember that I am a tried & true, die hard Pepsi person living in Coke country!!! CiaoMeow >^;;^<

While not on during the Superbowl proper, the pregame show had a Burger King commercial in the style of an old, grand finale musical production with dancing girls. But the girls were dressed as lettuce, tomato, etc. and the end of the number was girls in costume piled on one another to make a burger, with the tomato and onion and mayo and top bun flying onto the burger. It was incredibly silly and I laughed more than I care to admit.

At this point, I must raise the point that using trained wild animals in commercials and TV shows, like the chimpanzees in the career builder ads, is cruel. When the Budweiser horses get too old to do commercials, they spend the rest of their days in lush green fields. When chimps can't work any more they are put in awful cages, or worse. Very few are treated humanely. I am a Roots& Shoots leader (a program of the Jane Goodall Institute) and we were sent this link ttp://

I haven't watched TV for eons so I have no idea what you are all talking about, but a google search pointed me to these which might be the commercials you are talking about. If you can find the right button you should be able to replay them.
