Sticking with the "diet soda" theme, I was thinking "Give me TAB anytime." I remember the soda wars when aspartarme first came out and cohabited on the shelves with cyclamates for a brief period.

I could drink the original Tab; it wasn't overly sweetened like the current variation.

Then again, I'll drink Moxie and does anyone else remember Squirt? Schweppes Bitter Lemon?

Is it a regional thing, like Dr. Brown's Celery Tonic that was popular in New York? That was my father's favorite soda. I thought it tasted like fizzy celery and yucky.

Can someone explain to me why in today's voting in Michigan, Obama's name wasn't on the list of Democratic candidates and what happens with all the 'Undecided votes?

Nothing will happen. When the Michigan Democratic party moved its primary earlier in the calendar over the national Democratic party's objections, they were punished by having their convention delegates removed. Most of the Democratic candidates didn't bother to get their names on the ballot or to campaign because it won't make any difference in who is chosen as the party's nominee.
