Since I've done this quiz at least a dozen times I did 100% too. Admittedly, it took taking the test over and over to remember each answer, but it finally stuck in my brain.

You're the first person I know who got them all correct the first time.

Ah, that`s one of the very few compensations of getting older - useless information tends to stick. It`s the USEFUL stuff that just drifts straight past! LOL!

For a some historical reason , the Russians called October in the name of November and that is why it`s called the November Revolution . The 100 years war was fought mainly about the right to tax Wool . which was sent from England to Belgium to be proccesed .

LOL! I seem to get all kinds of trivia stuck in my brain - and the family hate playing Trivial Pursuit with me. In fact we gave it to Richard and family in the end! His oldest is likely to wipe the floor with all of them in any case.

Maybe we`re just two of those boring people who have their feet firmly on the ground. You`re not supposed to be old enough for that, though! LOL!

I'm sorry to be so obtuse, but what does knowing trivia have to do with having one's feet on the ground? Am I missing something?

I was actually referring to the bit that Dawne said about looking for the obvious!!! (Which was actually - er - pretty obvious!!! ;-))

Okay, now I'm going to plunge right in feet first. What does finding the obvious have to do with having one's feet on the ground. Some of the brightest, most creative, quickest thinking people I know aren't remotely well grounded.

As a matter of fact, in my not so humble opinion, some of the people who are the first to recognize when something is awry and are able to give constructive criticism or gentle corrections when needed, are also some of the least well grounded.

Having your feet on the ground doesn`t mean you`re lacking in imagination, common-sense, and perception perception, so I don`t see why you`re arguong!

You can be bright, quickthinking, and all the rest, but if you DON`T have your feet on the ground at the same time, you`re pretty likely to let your bright, quick imagination run away with you - and fly off half-cocked! LOL!
