I am trying to make face plates for my Nova 3K. I need 1 1\4 inch nuts with

8 threads per inch. So far I cannot find any. Any suggestions?

Bill

if you are looking for 1.25X8, I carry these because I make inexpensive faceplates with them - also other sizes - info on my web site,

Try McMaster Carr. They have a searchable website and will ship small quantities.

If you are making face plates check out donpencil.com he has a line of face plates at very reasonable cost

Best Price I have found is from MSCDirect.com Part #71788285 $.93 each.

I just received 5 faceplates from William Noble. Hard to beat his price for non machined faceplates. Delivery took less than a week from the time he received payment(same state).

Hope this helped.

They had a minimum counter order of $10....I ended up with 12 nuts for that price.

Here is another thought. Look for Darrel Feltmate's site. He uses blocks of wood with a hole drilled and tapped to make glue blocks and I suppose face plates. I have not made any but tried tapping a piece of oak with a

1x8 tap for my Jet and it worked. Maybe this would work for you.
