Perfect fabric??

I am stitching Hillside Samplings " A Stitch in Pine" on a nice piece of brownish linen with a mottled antique look to it. I was enjoying the fabric anyway, since it is quite loosely woven and the needle moves in and out very easily--and then I splash coffee in it while reaching for my cup. I decided to just let it dry--and the splash cannot be distinguished from the fabric itself. I think I may have found the fabric I will have to use for the rest of my stitching life! (Now ifI can find one with dyings that look like chocolatey fingerprints) Dawne

Dawne you made me Giggle ..... A soft rinse , with a Very wet cloth , might absorb coffee ,,, if you had milk [and sugar] in it water alone might not be enough, than you better add some `hair shampoo` to your cloth. mirjam

I wish I could!! I got the pattern, and a piece of fabric, in an "I'll Never Finish This" swap, so I have no idea what it is. Dawne
