I started using Cashel linen for a project (L&L Celtic Autumn) and found it too loose to work with for me -- I like something with less give than linen and yet I like the look that linen provides for this project. I've used Jubilee, Lugana and Jobelan in the past and really enjoyed working with these fabrics. So, someone recommended trying Jazlyn instead and I was wondering what it's like to work on.

I'm wondering if you're stitching with the Cashel linen "in hand". Mounting the fabric in a frame, and keeping a good tension, will make the fabric much firmer to work on. That way you'll have easier stitching, plus the good look of the linen. Just a suggestion from someone who loves linen.
JNo, I'm using my q-snaps that I've used before. I've done other projects on other types of linen, including Cashel, but this piece seems to be quite 'sloppy' for me to stitch on.

I don't know anything about Jazlyn, but I will say that Cashel is a very soft linen. You might try getting a length of 28 count from Charles Craft. I think you'll find it much firmer.
