Hi, I am over the mountains in the Front Range of Colorado. It is not so nice weather today. Icy rain and NO sun. How are you?

Pretty nice weather here in Virginia. My brother lives in Salida CO. Is that close to you?

Hi Connie, So glad you are enjoying the weather too. Salida is south east from me about 3+ hours. I live about 1 hour south of the Wyoming border. We are nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is very beautiful. We do not get a lot of snow but have it available in about 45 minutes to 2 hours away. Are you close to the water or more inland? I have an Aunt in Portsmouth. Have wanted to visit for along time. I hope to get there in the next couple of years. Check out the postcards for our town if you have a minute.

Hey Darla, I'm fairly close to rivers and bays but I wouldn't want to swim in them. I'm not to far from Washington DC.

Your town looks lovely. Colorado is very scenic. I just dislike the altitude - less oxygen.

I made some lampwork beads in the past but I haven't made any recently. I piddle around with jewelry or glass fusing. I haven't done much lately, I seem to be in a big slump. And since I don't have a job currently my money is in a big slump too 8-{

I see from your website that you create finished jewelry, correct?

Yes I take other peoples talented work and try to make something nice with it. I do not make beads. I would love to learn. Between my job, my husband, my house, family and friends I just have not been able to find the time. While I was out of work for awhile my daughter asked me to make her a few earrings. So I started making jewelry. Then I discovered ebay and all the beautiful creations of beads and started buying. I crochet, sew, and have done lots of different things.

Sorry to hear about your lack of work situation. What kind of work do you do? Darla

Not that you've said anything terribly private, it just seems an odd little chat for the whole group, and I thought - maybe they think they're emailing?
