The kids love Swedish fish - I was in the "that's not food" club and until DD started feeding them to me at a hockey game.

Similar to the American version of something going "belly up."

Why not? I figure the poor thing would need a sip of wine staying with you. I can just see the two of you trying to outstare one another to get your way. Geeesh Poor Cat

He finally ate some of his dry food in the night, that's a relief (to me anyway) It's odd, he is quite friendly, likes being stroked etc. but just won't eat. It's no big deal really, imagine how he would have hated a kennel.

Mavia, if you are reading this, he is Sharon P's cat, from Dartmouth!

I got the last laugh on her though, there she was and nine tenths of the snow she wanted fell on her !! I kept looking at the weather map and laughing, laughing, laughing.

It's not even February yet, though.

You DO like to tempt fate, don't you?

WHOOPEE!!! Just what we needed for an after holiday pick-me-up.

The very real possibility of an old fashioned snow ball fight.

They came for him last night and in true catty form he dived under my bed and chose to ignore them completely. Finally we managed to trap him by rolling the bed out. I think another time he would settle quickly and eat.

Ain't that the truth! My cat-boarders howled when they were delivered to me, and when their humans came to retrieve them, one went under the bed and the other went behind the couch. Guess they just had too much fun at Auntie Karen's and didn't want to go home.
