And it should be noted that it was over the Thanksgiving holiday when most Americans were either cooking up a storm, or visiting someone who was cooking up a storm.

If Gill really wants more posts, I'm sure I could start up a good war over whether mayo or Miracle Whip belongs on turkey sandwiches. ;)

And for a twist on the traditional Mayo Wars, we'll toss in the extra added bonus of "neither, only cranberry sauce".

You forgot the stuffing

Good bread (my cousin Bill's is de rigueur), stuffing with lots of celery and raisins and onions, whole berry sauce and dark meat.

Is it a hot and sweet mustard?

Definitely cranberry sauce for me. If absolutely pushed to the wall, Russian Dressing will do but cranberry is better.

Cranberry sauce. Mmm. Anyone remember the name of the place in Seattle that specializes in this?

That cranberry mustard sounds horrendous!

Groooaaannnn! I was trying to forget that.

For those who don't already know, I'm committed (or maybe it's that I should be committed) to making a cranberry, jell, pineapple, nuts and fruit mold for every single solitary occasion that serves turkey.

My friends love it and ask me to bring it each time, but personally I hate it.

If you like hot and sweet mustards, Honeycup is my favorite. Nothing else is quite like it. I've been addicted since my first taste at Zingerman's deli in 1984.
