RCTNP

Speaking of uploading pics to rctnp, I just put some on the board -- a few I've done in the last couple of years.

My favorites are Mares Eat Oats, after a song my mother used to sing, and the gift for my grandson, Evan -- the mouse reminded me so much of him before he walked much, when he'd raise his hands to be lifted up.

The frog was an end-of-the-year teacher's gift for my granddaughter's teacher last years. The teacher collects frogs.

Jere - very nice work! I like the use of buttons as embellishments in a couple of them. My favorite (just because of my personality/style, I guess) was the ladybug collage!

Very nice! Thanks for sharing!

You and the other recent sharers have inspired me to finally get busy and post some of mine to RCTNP as well, including Columbine Designs' Proposal Pillow that I entered at Woodlawn and a little baby dress I embellished for my niece-to-be (shhh, no one tell my SIL since I haven't sent it yet!) and a little silk gauze kitty.

Best wishes, Ericka

Gorgeous stuff, Erika -- the baby dress is exquisite.

Thanks, Barbara -- I used the silver buttons around Miss Mary Mack because I didn't want to stitch the border, so it was a bit of a cheat, but I like it much better than the stitched border.

Well. I don't know what the stitched border looked like, but I LOVE the buttons!

Well, I tried to add mine and I goofed up, not once, not twice, but THREE times. So there are two empty folders with my name attached I can't use.

*sigh*

Here is the link from Hoffman Distr. for the Miss Mary Mack picture -- the border is buttons -- would you believe I was in the middle of stitching it before I realized that?

Oh, no. I like your way much better.

You know, I can't even speak today. I like yours much better. That's what I meant to say.

I did the tiny url thing, and came up with this instead....

An odd thing about doing it my way -- I also thought it would be faster and easier -- have you ever tried to line up TWENTY-FOUR buttons precisely for a border???
