If you have a printer along with your webtv box, the link below leads to several sites that have free alphabet charts.

The problem is (perhaps) these are cross stitch charts. I was thinking, for a pillowcase, she was looking for surface embroidery patterns.

You may be right. If that's the case, all she'd need to do is find someone with a computer and printer because most of us have quite a few fonts that are monogram worthy. After she finds one that works for her, they could print out the letters which she could trace on to the pillowcase or they could reverse the letters, print, use iron on transfer pencil to outline the letters and then iron the results on to the pillowcase.
