Does that name ring a bell with anyone? I'm sure I remember her as one of the regulars here on RCTN awhile back. There is a nice article about her and her stitching in this weeks Nordic Needle newsletter. If you're still reading Rose, congratulations!

I thought the same thing when I saw her name. It looked very familiar. She and I have the same thing on our 'I will do in my lifetime' list and that is the MarBek Nativity. Beverly B

OOO -- I know Rose. We exchanged "make up" stitching on round robin samplers! IIRC, hers was of TW borders and I did a part of the bottom border from one of the Carousel Horses. She *was* a regular here but I haven't seen her post in quite some time. Too bad, too! CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Rings a bell with me. I will let her know.

Wow I feel like a celebrity. I was asked a few months ago if I would like to be a featured stitcher and was quite honored to do so. I did post on rctn in the past but when AOL so rudely dumped newsgroups I started using some free servers that allow reading but not posting. I can go through google to post like I am now but that gets time consuming. I became a grandma in 2004 and watch my grandson most days. By the time he leaves for the day I am too tired to do much. So all I seem to find time for is reading rctn. I do try to keep up with what is happening. Mavia, thanks for the nice comments. Beverly, someday I will do that Marbek Nativity. I just hope I can still see it when I am finished--LOL! Tia Mary, I did enjoy finishing that round robin with you. And meeting you at Hershey 2 yrs ago. Karen--my best mail buddy! Karen keeps my mailbox at camp full all summer long with nearly daily postcards and frequent long newsy letters. And some great surprise packages. I will try to be better about chatting with all of you. Happy Stitching Rose in Altoona PA

Flattery will get you ........ more mail! :)

Just don't expect another surprise package like the last one any time soon. That project took waaaay too long.

Karen, That surpise package was the best. And it is still one of the few things I have that says grandma on it. :) Karen sent me a lovely pillow with a baby in a crib and a saying about grandmas on it. It has a placeof pride on my sofa. Cameron loves to "hug" the baby and then he flips it over and tries to remove the crayons from the backing fabric. And Karen, you know anything you send is greatly appreciated. It is fun getting as much mail as the kids. :) Rose in Altoona Pa
