Does anyone know of any nice LNS in north or central nj?

jill in southern nj

Depending on your deffinition of Central NJ, CrossStitchUnlimited in Mercerville is wonderful. It's run by a husband and wife team (Reba and Hoyt) in what was originally Hoyt's framing business. Reba got sick of not finding patterns and supplies that she wanted and started with "just a little corner" of the store... you can guess how it went from there. There's a yahoo group for stitchers in NJ, I'm sure if you post there where you'll be lots of people will be glad to help. The address is:

know there are several highly recommended stores in north Jersey,I've just never been to them.Hope that helps!Heather

There is a really nice one in the north. Banbury Cross is in Andover right on rte 206. They have a great stock and really nice people.

I drive up twice a month from Princeton for a stitching group that meets there on the second Sunday and third Friday of each month.

I've heard of "Where Victoria's Angels Stitch", which is in Northern New Jersey, I believe. I've never been there but have heard good things about it.

Betsy from PA

its very pricey even for the area.
