I made it over to the JoAnn etc. (superstore) in Hudson today (we won't talk about how long it took because of all the road projects!) and the identical kits I bought on sale (marked discontinued) at the small JoAnn in Cuyahoga Falls yesterday were not marked down at all in Hudson. In fact very little needlework was to be found in the discount bins and the shelves and racks in the needlework section were full.
Local rumor is the chain is planning to close all the small stores and just keep running the JoAnn etc. stores. Sounds like a gradual phase out so keep your eyes open for big sales and store closings. I missed out on the floss display racks when they closed the Kent store so I'll have to watch C. Falls.
