I have a friend who will be travelling to London and have two weekends free. She is looking for the best cross stitch / needlework shops to explore in her down time. I'll foward all suggestions on to her.

Easiest Liberty's on Regent Street ( very expensive ) but John Lewis on Oxford Street is great and less expensive. They Lewis' also have lovely wool too.
Do they still have all that lovely fabric as well? I didn't realize Liberty's had stitching stuff - should've known. My favorite wool challis shawl came from there. It feels like silk.
