Hello,

I'm from Romania, interested in hardanger embroidery. I just found this article on internet and I'm trying to find the person who writte this. From a lot of time I'm thinking at this subject too, who was the first and which was the route of this type of embroidery. We have here in Romania, in Transilvania, but only here, this type of embroidery, witch is still made in rural comunities, at large scale. I love this embroidery, I make it for 15 years now. Maybe if someone from other countries have a tradition in this type of embroidery, and if they are interested, we can work together in finding more pieces of this puzzle. Thank you in advance for any information, Liana, Romania
