Oh poop! I just now found out about the whole thing. I'm running behind as normal. I hope that today you get to go home. I know you are Not Happy, Thank You Very Much at having to stay in the hospital. But I am so grateful that you were able to get right in and get such good care.

If the albuterol makes you real shaky, ask for Xopenex (levalbuterol).
Same effect, less "shakes." Maybe you'll even be able to hold a needle! (DD always brings her knitting to the ER because it's "gross motor" enough to handle but helps her feel in control of the shaking.)

p.s. I'm glad I looked this up for you, because I didn't know it's now available in the MDI. I'll pass that info along to DD. She has Xopenex for the neb, but still albuterol for the MDI. But not for long, I suspect!
