Thank you, thank you, thank you. It never ceases to amaze me the depth of expertize that exists on RCTN. For any newcomers, I dont think I have ever asked an off topic question on rctn, and not have it answered in less than 24 hours. Again, many thanks to Bruce and Bobbie.

Same here. I've gotten plumbing advice, medical questions answered (by people in the profession, not "my sister's mother-in-law's neighbor's cousin had that"), and, to the cat's great relief, advice that saved her a trip to the V-E-T.

I am in a professional group with the same amount of widely-varied expertise. Just last night, someone asked for the spelling of an obscene word in some obscure language, and the answer was there this morning. All sorts of technical questions get answered with "I'll have my DH phone you when he gets home from work", because whatever field it is, someone's got a DH who works at it and will know exactly what the word in question is.

I would love to see them and RCTN engage in a trivia contest, because I really don't know which side would win.
