What I did yesterday

Drove to Merrimack thinking all the time, they're going to call this if the temp drops a few more degrees. Which they did - the field was flooding and the snow didn't do much to help the conditions.

Had Lunch with E, went home, stitched and played on the computer a bit. I've put Herbal Essence in a lap frame to do the eyelets. I also put a little kit on a different set of bars to bring to Celebrations - it a cute little kit called How does your Garden Glow.

Tried to stitch and watch the Rangers lose - running joke is that tee time is at 9 AM today.

Tried to go our for dinner at the local rib shack and gave up when 45 minutes in there was still at least 15 minutes to go. Big tables were getting seating but not smaller ones. And the natives were restless so we ended up at a local Mexican place. Neither place was "special" but the holiday weekend made the first way too crowded.

Read a really bad book - so bad you had to wonder why it got published.

No gifts to open other than Karen's - didn't expect any.

I honestly can't think of a thing to send to you but a zillion hugs! I can't even promise a summer visit...we are going to the mid-west! Jim's Dad died at Thanksgiving, so we are now honoring other obligations!

Hugs

don't worry about it - don't need anything and I am going to Celebrations next weekend. I'm hoping to spot a few things I liked online and I'll buy those and maybe even get the fabric.
