Yipee!!! Welcome piece done!!!

My welcome sign is finished and sent off. I really enjoyed making this piece, just as I am sure the recipient is going to enjoy recieving it.

I used the backboard of a clip frame, put the piece on top, then a sheet of plastic. Then I used double-sided tape for the silk paper with gold hearts on it, which I think compliments it pretty well. And the holes in the back can be used to hang it up.

A picture of it is the latest in my webshots album:

Stay tuned for Neffi, which is my the same designer as tut, and has no metallics. I also plan to get daisy tablecloth done for next January, and the pigs this year. The big 3.

Very nice, Amber. I especially liked the "light and airy" Christmas Tree. Do you remember what chart that came from??

Hi Amber - very nice work!! I also like the Christmas tree and am interested in the pattern info. Also, is it made up for a Christmas card insert? Or, how did you finish it?

Hej Allesammen,

thanks for the compliments.

The Christmas tree is about 9 by 13 cm (3,5 by 5,2 inches). I put it in a clip frame as well, just as it is, I unravelled 3 stitches on each side. You can find it here:

The Welcome is very cute - so nice and bright. Clever framing idea - I like the clip frame idea, as well!
