I am wondering if when I soak the kiln for the crystal glazes, will that effect just a plain ol' glaze? Thanks Sa

Seasa: No such thing as "a plain ol' glaze" You will have to try yours and see what effect it has, as everyone's is different.

I have heard of glazes devitrifying on long soaks, making a clear glaze turn opaque. Don't know how long a soak that would typically take, or at what temperature range.
