Well I believe I have finally made enough 6" blocks to make the Sunbonnet Sue (and Sam) quilt that I want to make. I may even have a few blocks to spare. Now to find the time to put them all together and make the quilt. I told myself that as soon as these were completed I would have to stop and get busy on the grand kids quilts. Even though Christmas seems a bit of a distance from now it will quickly creep up on me especially since quilting these quilts is going to be such a big job and I am not to sure of my hands yet when it comes to quilting the finished quilts. These will be my first big projects in a couple years (since I got sick). I am going to lay the blocks out on the floor and take a picture though, just so I can see how many I have and get a perspective on things. julia

Way to go, Julia! Can't wait to see a pic of all those Sues and Sams! I can't begin to visualize that many of them.

WTG Julia! I can't imagine doing that many SBS blocks in a whole lifetime, LOL. Can't wait to see the final quilt.
