Very nice!
That is so nice. Not overly cutesy or saccharine sweet as so many Sues can be. I don't think I can make that tiny log cabin quilt though, so I won't be making one of my own. Does give me an idea though. Debra in VA See my quilts at
You could make it with foundation paper piecing, Debra. The blocks look about 1 and a 1/4 inches. That would be a quarter centre and two quarter inch logs each side. I've often done that size on paper. That one's very sweet.

They are way too tiny of pieces and I don't do paper piecing at all. It's just too hard for me to figure out. It would be easier for me to make a similar quilting Sue by making her quilt an applique quilt. Debra in VA See my quilts at
Ah! never mind. I would not want to try it without paper piecing; but a tiny appliqué would be fine, too. . In message , Debra writes
But it is my understanding that the Amish don't usually do applique... :)

A quilt block of appliqued Sue making an applique quilt is a little amusing too. Debra in VA See my quilts at
