a beginning - part two

I'm assembling the rows for a Downy Quilts for Kids baby quilt. Slowly of course, but increasing that stamina! :)

Slow is the way to go. You can do this. I just finished two baby quilts that have been "in progress" for over a year. It is a good feeling :-)

Take care!

Karen, Is this one of their kits? Aren't they just adorable! It's such a nice, easy project to work on even for just a few minutes at a time. I've got 2 to label & deliver, hopefully this week but I'm rapidly running out of daylight this week as we leave for vacation on Friday. Just finished weeding the most visible gardens and as soon as I rehydrate it will be pool cleaning time. Trying to get all my outside work done today as it's almost bearable out there as compared to yesterday!

Good luck and work when you can.

Yes, one of their adorable kits. Very good for the soul, while the body gets itself up to speed. I remember one other time in my life when quilting saved my emotional life. So good to have it around!

It's so true, I'm calling them soul food right now. LOL And whoever puts those fabrics together does a great job! They are adorable.

Karen, I'm so glad to hear you're working on the quilt. It gladdens the heart when one can do something for others and working with fabric for a little one is just the medicine some of us need most some days.

I hope you continue getting stronger and feeling healthier.

They are such wonderful projects to work on...small and easy to move through the machine. And of course, you know that each one will be cherished by some small child who needs a 'hug' from Auntie Karen...Donna
