Incredibly Sad News

This morning Tammy posted on FB that our Edna Pearl has passed away earlier today. I really don't know anything more than what Jef posted yesterday. I am incredibly heartbroken, and expect that many of you are too.

This morning I was in church, sitting in the same spot as I sat with her and my DD when EP visited us a couple years back, and imagining her, with her beautiful voice, singing and harmonizing with me. I know it's smarmy and 'feel good' and perhaps even offensive to those of you who don't share my spiritual beliefs, but I am personally looking forward to singing with her someday again, in the next place. That's how I get through things like this.

With hope and heart, and a few tears too, Kathleen

When I am grieving, I quilt. Today is for you, EP. Quilts for Kids by Downy. You rest now, my friend. We'll take it from here. My sympathy and prayers to the family and friends of our quilt buddy.
