AQS calendar....we're dancing in WI

I am so excited....The raffle quilt from our little guild (only 50-ish members), Piecemakers Quilt Guild of Marshfield WI, has our quilt published in the 2009 AQS calendar.. It is the January quilt....One of our guild members brought the calendar to Sew-n-Tell on Monday, so we were able to see it in person.....I am so proud and tickled. It is my layout/design using EQ5 and so my name is in print.....WOO HOOO Mauvice in central WI

Hey, now that's great. Of course, you must get a copy enlarged to poster-size to frame and maybe do an autograph session. How delightful. Very proud of you, Mauvice. Happy dancing. Polly

Kate: Klaudeen Hanson who edits the calendar is from Madison -area Wi and was at our quilt show and suggested we enter, she sent us a form and we sent a picture .....there was some critieria like it being original, for copyright reasons to get clearance, one of the other members filled out the paperwork as I recall. If you want more you can check on the AQS website I am sure. Mauvice

How wonderful! I know you must be tickled pink. I would definitely have it framed. That would be a nice touch.

Good gracious, Jane. You warned us that you couldn't spell but 'coodoes' did send my 'can't help it, proof reader brain' into a spin. I'm thinking the word is kudos - but I'm used to DH's spelling which is a challenge to even the most skilled Ebonics phonetic voodoo gurus. Today he wrote me a note that he'd gone to buy some sealing paint. I had no clue why he was painting sealing but it sounded harmless enough. You don't even want to know what he does to my grocery shopping list. So glad to have you join us. Your original spelling will just be fun to me. Polly

OMG!!! That quilt is magnificent. Congrats on the publication of it on the Calendar. Tell all the ladies their work is just too beautiful for words.
