Badge of honor?

Hmm, never had anything similar from a fly fishing store. A quilt store just called for my wife. Seems they wanted to buy some fabric FROM MY WIFE!!! Yah know you got too many toys when the retailers need to use you to fill their shelves. Cornered the market, she did. She is NEVER gonna live this down. Frank Reid

Turns out that they want to buy something to complete some kits and they figured if anyone had it, she would. I should have told the woman no because three foot of fabric against each wall of the 2000 square foot basement makes great insulation. Don't want a hole in the insulation. Frank Reid

Well, she just got home and talked to the quilt store lady. Took her about 20 seconds to put her hands on the three yards. How could she find it in all that? Frank Reid

A mother hen knows where her baby chicks are. I'm even more impressed!

I'm told its Hoffman's Winter Wonderland with metalic accents needed to complete block of the month kits for her favorite quilt store. The store is called the Quilted Moose. Bride and oldest daughter lined up bags from the store accross the floor to empty them. Bride looked down and said "look! Moose tracks!" Frank Reid

Same way we know exactly where our 5/16" wrench (or fill-in approprite tool, screw, fastener, etc.) is...

Packrats is packrats.

She's my hero too. I think she deserves a statue in the town square and a catchy tune written to sing her praises. Polly

"Roberta" LOL! Well done, Mrs. Frank! It's a great thing to have a quilt store

Oh, she has the catchy tune. Its entitled "Power Shopping." Heard her and my daughters singing it as they drove off with a copy of some book with the quilt stores in every state listed. "Power shopping Across the Universe Credit cards in my hand There's more in my purse!"

Jaunty little tune that has cured the economic downturn in a 6 state area. Frank Reid
