I have a preference, but would like other opinions...

The "2x rayon" is the boldest. But I like the blend of rayon and metallic. It will sparkle but not be overwhelming. The metallic alone is more sparkly, and in some ways more subtle.

I like the rayon/metallic combo on the right.

IMO rayon. Pretty combination! Roberta in D

Rayon and Metallic for me! Mind you its a difficult choice.

Yes! Rayon and metallic for me too!

I like the mixed thread, but it will need some tweaking on the tension. Have you tried a bobbin fill thread or something like Bottom Line from Superior? The thread is fine but strong, and tends to stay on the underside a bit better. Any choice will look great, but I do love the metallics!

I had tension issues with the mix, but considering that I'd probably use a bobbin thread that would match the top fabric it might not be so bad. My preference, after stitching this sample, is for the metallic.

I did try tweaking the tension, but this is just the top fabric not a sandwich, not sure how much of a difference that would make. That might have to be another experiment, I suppose it depends on if I prefer something a little bolder or the more subtle look.
