nearly perfect portable quilt case

I have the nearly perfect portable quilt case It's from Akro Mills and designed for scrapbooking, but it works great for quilting.

I got a 12x12 cutting mat (forgot the brand) in translucent white to fit in the 12x12 top part of the case (see picture). It is deep enough to fit my current projects, as well as tools.

I wrote to the company requesting a slightly modified version of this to be perfect:

- One more of those flat work areas to put magazines or patterns in (there is currently no place to put paper without folding it)

- have another divider system that allows a bigger area for projects, divide the deep space into 1/3 and 2/3, instead of just 1/2 and 1/2.

Of course, I have not heard from them. Anyway, in this case, I have a good cutting area, a good working area, sufficient storage, and it's a good size to put in the passenger seat next to me in the car.

The best part of it was that it was on sale at Jo-Ann's, marked down from $35 to $17 to $7, plus I got 10% off of that using my AQS membership! ;)
