Batting

What batting do you prefer? Cotton, poly, some kind of blend? What washes best for baby and children's quilts these days?

I was very UNHAPPY when I hand quilted the cotton needlepunched batting from Quilters' Dream. Once I washed the quilting designs completely disappeared in the wrinkles. I guess I'm just enough of a

70's gal to *want* a bit of that puffy look that poly gives. I think it's warmer, too, because it traps more air.

Thanks Susan. You don't find a lot of shrinkage with the wool blend?
