I just can not wait to see that one. (You aren't supposed to clean out the refrigerator, you know.) Just fabric, please. Polly

Actually, we had more than 5 inches of rain here this morning and I wasn't able to get fussy about my cutting either. I just hacked out pieces that I was sure were greater than the 6 1/2 and floated them out to the mail box. glub. Polly

DeNise, I'm really not sure what I was thinking when mine came here either. Maybe they were supposed to make the pretty ones 'pop' but I kinda think 'hurl' might be the right action. How many? My goodness, send whatever you can. If Pami wants ugly, we'll get a kick out of supporting her fun project. Polly

lol although it looks like an escapee from the fridge, it is not... The worst part is, she gave me a LOT of it and one night in desperation after my sons beloved blankey died in the wash... well the story is too horrid to tell but suffice it to say, Pami's will not be the only quilt with this fabric in it lol

That's all Pami asked for. Of course, if you have something that's just excruciatingly ugly, I guess you'd want to send two squares - or if you find more than one unbearably ugly, send 'em on. Polly

Mine is, too! Mine was so ugly that I sent the entire piece -- maybe Pami can use it for part of the binding or something. ;)

Polly, you sweet thing. I have just the fabric for you... but I don't have the directory yet...would you send me your address off-list?

I've sent off a chunk of ugly fabric to you. In case you wonder at my taste...... I didn't purposely buy it! lol It came in an orange FQ bundle I bought.

ok.. what is it with orange and ugly??? there is no such thing as an ugly orange!

I challenge someone to find an orange I find ugly... snail mail is in any number of aging directories or available on request

Well played, Jessamy. Well played! ;-)

(FWIW, I think I had a pair of orange pants back in the 70's that would meet anyone's definition of ugly. In fact, I'm pretty sure there's a picture of those pants in the dictionary right next to the definition of "ugly".

*snort*)

Believe me, it was the pants!

Picture this -- huge lime green and white flowers, with red (verging towards rust) centers, on a burnt orange background. And they were bell-bottoms to boot. *shudder*
