Best price for needles?

I do sharpen mine as well but it seems they only take a few sharpenings before it's not worth the effort. The sharpener I bought is simply a round looking thing that the blade fits into with a piece of sanding paper glued inside. Not smart enough to try and sharpen on a stone or anything else for that matter.

How do others sharpen their blades? Joanna

I have a friend who used to send hers away to be sharpened. I'll have to see if she still does that.

Hi Joanna,

We have a little different kind of sharpener. Hold da phone... (had to get the pkg.) This one:

but an earlierversion (not an endorsement - for informational purposes only)

It has rough (for small imperfections) and fine (for honing) grinders. Ours does a straight (flat) grind; I would prefer a hollow grind, but I don't know if there's a sharpener that does that.

Hi Joanna,

Look again. It says it's for 45 & 60 mm blades, and that a model for

18-20 mm is in development. I'll have to ask the construction manager where she got it - probably one of the LQSs.
