Mine came Monday....very pretty ........black background with green, red, yellow, purple swirling ribbons
Along with the FQ was an invitation to the Inspiration Guild.....Make a
12"x12" block with at least 50% of fabric from blank quilting and they will assemble a giant quilts (quilts?) as the blocks come in. For every block they receive they will donate $1.00 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. All the quilts will be auctioned off and all proceeds donated as well.
When I get a minute I will use my FQ to make a block and send it along to them. My Mother passed away 2 1/2 years ago from ovarian cancer.
Is anyone else making up a block and sending it to them?
