My loverly delete key isn't enough for me these days.
I finally found out, like it really took a lot of effort :-) , how to block individual emails.
So sad.

I use mine all the time....
for those using Outlook Express... just click on the word MESSAGES on your menu bar.... scroll down and click on BLOCK SENDER.... it will automatically remove all messages from this sender in the future -- and delete those currently downloaded. Problem is... most of these PITA's (our family acronym for Pain in the....) will come back using a different name/email addy -- but then all you have to do is go back to MESSAGES one more time!
It doesn't totally eliminated those unwanted posts .... but it does take a bite out of them!

I use to use OE also and i remember that you can also make Message Rules, in which you can block emails that p.e. use the word Yahoo or Hotmail in the FROM line.. almost all posts in this NG are from people using a screenname and not theire emailaddresses.. and lots of spam do use a yahoo or hotmailemail address.. so that way you can block a lot of spam .. does this make any sense???

Or get a gmail email account and use their smtp to get your mail in OE, spam free. They have spam filter you can't beat.
Mine shows ......'REMOVEhotmail.com'. I hope I don't get blocked!
I often wonder if my 'block box' has a maximum capacity and will get full up soon.
