bobbin washers

Apr 01, 2012 4 Replies

I think this was discussed a good while ago but I can't remember. Anyone tried them and have anything good or bad to report? TIA, Taria

I use them in my Viking Sapphire 875 and NEVER get thread tangles on the backside of my fabric. Don't know for sure that this is the answer but it sure worked for me. Used to get tangles all the time. Knockin' wood -- KT.

Howdy!

I have never washed a bobbin, but am willing to try something new, if you think it will help.

Sounds like they are worth a try! Thx

Well, my mom was kind of a clean nut. She would probably like the idea of my washing a bobbin if it needed it.

I thought you were going to tell me I wouldn't need bobbin washers if I hand quilted. I wouldn't but I do need some motivation to finish hand quilting a dresden plate quilt! I should get on that while I wait for the washers to get here?

Thx, Taria
