cabinet knob/pulls for quilters/sewing?

Anyone know where I can buy online some cabinet knobs/pulls that would be made to represent some aspect of quilting or sewing? Maybe look like a small quilt or sewing machine...something like that.

thank you

You can get enamelled lapel pins of different quilt blocks and even showing a rotary cutter, You could glue/"nail" them onto your spools if you want to get real fancy.

Coat the spool with polyurethane or similar product and you won't even need to remove the thread or worry about it raveling from use.

A lot of smaller hardware stores sell unfinished fake wooden spools. They are made purely for decoration purposes and are usually inexpensive. They are most often found near the wood dowels, miniature wood kegs/barrels, and other assorted little wood craft things. I'd still coat them in polyurethane since they would be in a high moisture area and likely to get a lot of use. Debra in VA See my quilts at
