I would like to buy a new sewing machine table/cabinet. I am looking for suggestions. I am 5 ft tall and everything seems too tall. When I try to machine quilt my neck and shoulders really start hurting after a while. I am sure it is because my kitchen table is too tall. I am looking for any suggestions. Thank so much in advance. An alternative option, instead of looking for just the right table, is to look for just the right chair! Many office chairs, designed for various professions, have means of raising and lowering the seat, as well as adjusting the back. One of these would be perfect for you, because then you could adjust it to whatever table you happened to be working on.
