Caroler Capes done New Pics

Thanks for all the help with how to sew on faux fur without it jamming under my presser foot. The trick was the cling wrap. I put a piece under the presser foot and it covered over the fur and just followed along with the foot. I only needed a small strip that stayed right under the foot. I thought I would have to keep replacing the wrap as I continued along but I didn't. It really worked well. I have a picture on my Webshots. I made them for adults to wear at our church's live nativity to hand out refreshments. But, I got them done in time for the teens play. The girls wore them at the door to hand out the programs. As you entered the church the broke out in song and handed you a program. They really looked cute even though they drug the ground. The church will get a lot of use out of them. I made them out of polar fleece and some faux fur fabric I cut in strips. Then ran a satin white ribbon through the casing and sewed on a large white pom pom on the end. You can see them on my Webshots under odds and ends sewed.
