Thanks for the post. I think this would be a good project for my friend in the nursing home. I could sew everthing and she could use the electric scissors to cut the three layers. Even though I had done most of the work she would feel she had "made" the pot holders. She always made her gifts and it bothers her that she can no long do much. She is only 57 but MS has taken all use of her legs and most use of her hands.
