On another list, a woman informed the group that she had received a phone call from someone telling her that her credit card information was on a foreign website. ALL of her information. Expiration date, 3 number code from the back of the card, full CC number, etc. She sent us the site address and sure enough, I recognized the name of a friend. I called and told her to check with her credit card company.
The reason I am posting the info here is that the woman on the other list AND my friend are quilters and they both had internet orders on the order dates listed.
I am reluctant to just post the site address because it does have all of this sensitive information, but people need to know. I didn't recognize anyone's name from this group, but some people don't necessarily use their real names online.
So, I guess the thing to do is to have you contact me and I'll send the website address to you individually and you can check for yourself.
There are lots and lots of names.
