..... your spool of quilting thread runs out partway along the last border and you don't have a spare in that colour?
Now I have to hope the local craft shop open on Sundays has it in, or I shall have to wait until sometime in the week.

Even with my ginormous thread stash, this happens... Bums!
Yes, and I hate it even more when the bobbin spool runs out (despite having a warning buzzer activated) half way round a pinned frill or an armscye, so you've not noticed till it all needs re-pinning (because just this once, you've been good and taken them out as you sew)!
Bleah!
