Has anybody been to this before? What is it like? and how easy is it to get to from the main Edinburgh train station?

Thank you Sarah

I haven't been to the Edinburgh one, Sarah; but I have participated in and been to many of the southern Spring Quilt fairs. They are very worthwhile visiting - it's rather nice not having any competitive element, just lovely things to look at. There are traders there, too. The exhibitors are often available to chat to. I have always enjoyed my visits to them. If you look at the flyers/publicity for the Spring fairs, you will see that, although the photographs used are different, the exhibitions are by the same people - the show is, in effect, a touring show. I handed over my quilts, for example, in February and got them back at the end of April.

Sorry I don't know about getting to the show. I suggest you ring the people at Grosvenor, they go to all the venues and they will have a good idea of how to get there - or ring the Edinburgh tourist office.

Hope you have a great time, if you get to it. . In message , Sarah Dixon writes
